WHAT ARE BAMBOO CLOTH DIAPERS?
These are cloth diapers made from bamboo fabric. We use bamboo in our diapers as it is a super absorbent material and reduces leaking, making it great for optimum performance diapers. Bamboo is also super soft and breathable which allows for the most comfortable diapers for little bottoms.
WHY ARE BAMBOO DIAPERS DIFFERENT TO OTHER CLOTH DIAPERS?
Bamboo diapers are often more absorbent than cloth diapers made from other materials. Bamboo (may also be termed bamboo viscose or bamboo rayon) is a naturally derived, man-made material. Bamboo fabric grows quickly and requires low water usage and often no pesticides to grow. It makes super absorbent and super soft diapers but does have a longer drying time than other fabrics.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MIOSOLO SUPREME AND MIOSOLO CLASSIC?
Both diapers are great performing but have different pros and cons. The miosolo classic is a popular choice for everyday use as it performs well and is extremely quick drying. The miosolo supreme has extra built-in absorbency and advanced leak-proof protection for the times when you need it most like overnight but takes longer to dry. WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MIOBOOST SUPREME AND MIOBOOST CLASSIC?
Both inserts are great performing but are made from two different materials. The mioboost classic is made from polyester (microfiber) and the mioboost supreme is made from super soft bamboo. We have 3 different types of diapers, miosolo classic, miosolo supreme and mioduo. All of our diapers are great performing but have different pros and cons. HOW MUCH DO BAMBOO DIAPERS ABSORB?
Bamboo diapers are super absorbent and can reduce leaking. They are often more absorbent than cloth diapers made from other materials. Our miosolo supreme is super absorbent with its unique dual bamboo absorbent core. It absorbs around 40% more than our miosolo classic diaper and it’s perfect for heavy wetters, use over longer periods of time and is snooze approved for night-time use.
HOW LONG DO BAMBOO DIAPERS TAKE TO DRY?
Bamboo diapers take longer to dry as they are excellent at absorbing moisture. Our miosolo supreme has a unique dual bamboo core which is purposely split into two to reduce your drying time. The miosolo supreme takes around 3 times longer to dry than our miosolo classic. Bamboo diapers can be tumble dried on a cold/low setting. Tumble drying reduces drying time, but increases the environmental impact of your diaper due to the energy used. Where possible, we recommend air drying your diapers as much as possible for the lowest environmental impact.
HOW DO I WASH BAMBOO DIAPERS?
Remember to wash your diapers at least once before you start using them. Our supreme products can be machine washed with enzyme-free detergent up to 104°F. Do not use fabric softener or chlorine bleach. If you’re soaking your diaper (optional), only soak the diaper core, keeping the laminated outer fabric (shell) out of the water. To add a boost to your laundry, add a dash of laundry treatment to your laundry. When drying, air dry away from direct heat. Products can be tumble dried on a cold/low setting but do not dry clean or iron. Be kind to your diapers! To get the most out of them, wash at lower temperatures. Washing at higher temperatures and frequent tumble drying can result in premature deterioration of your diapers. View our laundry guide.
